Popis: Gallstones are still one of the most common cause with epidemiological patterns indicating an increasing incidence. The surgical approaches of acute gallstone pancreatitis were discussed in this review. PubMed, Embase, and Google scholar databases were searched up to April, 2019 for published studies with English language and human subjects discussing the management of Acute pancreatitis and surgical approaches. Surgical procedure has a really limited role in the medical diagnosis of acute pancreatitis. One of the most typical signs for treatment in acute pancreatitis is for the therapy of issues and most significantly the therapy of infected walled off necrosis. Other indicators for surgical procedure in acute pancreatitis are for the therapy of acute area disorder, non-occlusive intestinal ischaemia and necrosis, enterocutaneous fistulae, vascular complications and pseudocyst. Surgical procedure also has a role in the avoidance of recurrent acute pancreatitis by cholecystectomy. Despite the more restricted role, doctors have an important contribution to make in the multidisciplinary care of patients with complicated acute pancreatitis.
