| Popis: | An unusual case of neonatal gastric perforation secondary to a large milk curd bezoar (lactobezoar) in a premature infant is reported. Following surgical treatment the infant made a full and uncomplicated recovery. Aetiological factors associated with the development of lactobezoars and their diagnosis and treatment are discussed. |
