Popis: | The maximum of the heat capacity, C ( T ), at high temperatures in glasses is shown to be determined by a constant characteristic of the glass compound. It is related to the elementary processes by which a glass-forming liquid is homogenized. The effect of the glass heating kinetics on C ( T ) and the temperature of the maximum is explained by the introduction of restriction onto the ‘colour’ atom sets or topological groups of atoms. |
