Popis: This work investigates an underground mine equipment dispatching problem under equipment stochastic working times. First, a mathematical model is developed for solving the Equipment Dispatching problem while considering the machines working times as deterministic parameters. Then, Monte Carlo simulation is implemented in order to assess the reliability of the deterministic dispatching under stochastic environment, i.e. stochastic working times that include travel times between stopes, settlement times, and breakdown times. For this challenging problem, an illustrative variability effect analysis is proposed. Promising preliminary results highlight the importance of considering machines working times as stochastic parameters in the case of medium and high variability levels.
