Popis: The study examined the effects of emotional exhaustion on employee performance among academic staff of tertiary institutions in Ekiti State, Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised 2609academic staff of tertiary institutions in Ekiti State. The sample size of 1214 respondents was employed and it was determined bythe Yamani sampling model. Data used for the study were gathered through the structured questionnaire. Data gathered wereanalyzed using multiple regression. The result showed that time constraint has a significant effect on employee performance.
