Popis: Veturius tuberculifrons Kuwert, 1891 Veturius tuberculifrons Kuwert, 1891: 174. One paralectotype is deposited in NMPC (ex coll. Nickerl). PARALECTOTYPE (unsexed specimen): ‘ Veturius / tuberculi- / frons Kuw. / Amazoneng. [hw Kuwert] // Nickerl [p] // Kuwert / typ! [hw Nickerl] // TYPUS [p, red label, black margin] // tuberculifrons / Kuw. syntype / revised [hw] / S. Boucher det. [p] 13 [hw]’ // Veturius tuberculifrons / Kuwert, 1891 / Paralectotypus / des. S. Boucher / & A. Bezděk, 2016 [p, red label]’. Current status. Veturius (Veturius) tuberculifrons Kuwert, 1891, see BOUCHER (2006). Remark. As in the case of V. criniceps, the type locality is erroneous. Veturius tuberculifrons is restricted to Central America (BOUCHER 2006). The designation of lectotype was published by BOUCHER (1988). Because there is no doubt about the authenticity of the specimen housed in NMPC, we consider it an additional paralectotype.
