Methodology of complex assessment of perinatal care

Popis: Purpose — to develop methodology for the complex assessment of the status of perinatal care and complex assessment model of the perinatal care service. Materials and methods. Materials of the study were data of literary sources on the use of the final results method of the perinatal care institutions, data of state statistics on the activities of mother and child health institutions, data of perinatal audit and monitoring and evaluation of regionalization of perinatal care for the period 2015–2017. Methods of research: mathematical, statistical, point evaluation, modeling, analytical and systematic approach. Results and сonclusions. A methodology for complex assessment of perinatal care has been developed, complex assessment model of perinatal care activity has been proposed using an adapted method of the final results of medical care institutions. Complex assessment model involves assessing of achieve men coefficients of the normative values of each individual indicator, individual components of complex assessment and integrated assessment of perinatal care activities. The developed model of complex assessment provides an opportunity to analyze and evaluate the activities of perinatal services at the state and regional levels, aswellas the work of separate institutions of perinatal care at I, II, and III levels, of departments of perinatal care, and medical workers. The model makes it possible to assess the effectiveness of management actions in the area of ensuring the availability and quality of perinatal care, therefore, it can be considered as one of the components of the quality and effectiveness management process for providing perinatal care in order to further improving, especially in the direction of preventing risks of maternal and perinatal pathology and mortality in institutions of perinatal care at appropriate level, and improving of rates of medical activities.
