Popis: | Cryo- and pyroprecipitability of protein in the serum of a patient with multiple myeloma were both derived from the same polymerized IgA with lambda light chain, and were composed mainly of 16.1 S which migrated to the β2 region. A 6.7S component produced by reduction of the polymerized IgA did not reveal these properties. This suggests an important role of disulfide bonds in the conformation of IgA polymers with these thermoprecipitabilities. |
