Popis:	In the present paper, we have been studied the elastic constants of lead chalcogenides [(PbX, X= Se and Te)] with help of lattice constants. The elastic constant such as Young’s modulus, bulk modulus, shear modulus and Poisson ratio in lead chalcogenides [(PbX, X= Se and Te)] are calculated. The calculated values are a close agreement with the experimental results.
