Early detection plays a crucial role in its prevention and progression. saliva may be a reliable medium that mirrors periodontal health and is easily obtainable for identifying periodontal biomarkers in point-of-care diagnostics. This article review explains the periondontal applications of saliva and gingival crevicular fluid as a diagnostic tool.
