Popis:	A nine year old girl who presented with a thrombosis of the right internal jugular vein and superior vena cava was found to be in cardiac failure and to have a dilated cardiomyopathy. After transient improvement she deteriorated and was accepted for cardiac transplantation. Following transplantation her condition has been much improved.
