| Popis: | We report 2 cases of inverted papilloma of the ureter with clinical, radiographic and pathologic correlations. Although the inverted papilloma is probably best regarded as a benign epithelial proliferation true urothelial neoplasia may be associated with it. This sequence was illustrated in 1 of our cases in which adenocarcinoma of the bladder developed several months after removal of the ureteral inverted papilloma. The association and structural similarity of Brunn’s nests and cystitis cystica with inverted papilloma are discussed. |
