Popis: The study is devoted to the choice of an optimal method for determining the ζ-potential of colloidal SiO2 particles. The electrokinetic potential was measured using two methods: (i) acoustic and electro-acoustic spectroscopy; (ii) horizontal agarose gel electrophoresis. Based on experimental and calculated data, an optimal method for measuring the ζ-potential of colloidal SiO2 particles was chosen.
