Popis: This study aims to understand the curricular policies that were developed for Brazil from the 1990s onwards. This historical period was marked by the State Reform and, as a result, there were Educational Reforms which were based on a discourse of reorganization of the system which directly affected education. To do so, we will address issues related to the curricular reforms that occurred in Brazil from the 1990s onwards and that originated the curricular texts of the National Curricular Parameters (PCNS), the National Curricular Guidelines (DCNS) and the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). This research has a qualitative approach and in terms of technical procedures, it is classified as bibliographical. Through the study, it became evident the attempt to establish a National Common Base which guides the formulation of curricular policies throughout the national territory.
