Popis: | CT angiography (CTA) is a minimally invasive technique that has proven to be clinically useful in evaluating the vasculature of the abdominal viscera. In many instances, the diagnostic information obtained from abdominal CTA is sufficient to avoid the expense and morbidity of conventional angiography. This article reviews the indications, technique, and pitfalls of abdominal CTA with specific emphasis on disorders of the hepatic, splenic, and superior mesenteric arteries and the portal venous system. |
