Popis:	Summary A number of general caryological problems, which can be studied with hi-stochemical methods is reviewed. The importance of the histochemical integration of caryo-morphological data is stressed and a number of contributions of the author and of his coworkers is summarized. Some problems regarding ovogenesis, quinone tanning, the genesis of pigments, the calcification and the secretion in animals are outlined.
