Popis: Consultant haematologist Chase Farm Hospital, London, 1960-83 (b 1918; q University College Hospital, London, 1940; FRCPath), d 4 October 2005. Brian was basically a laboratory haematologist who developed an intense interest in oral anticoagulant therapy. This took him to most meetings of the British Society of Haematology, of which he was a founder member. His particular interest was quality assurance of anticoagulant therapy, on which he wrote an early paper reporting therapeutic quality control of a series of patients treated outside hospital by general practitioners. His other main interest was music and he was an organiser of the “Gaelic Mod,” held annually in north west Scotland. He leaves a wife, Elizabeth.​Elizabeth. Figure 1
