Popis: | Summary Liquor volume studies were made on 96 women in late pregnancy. Assessment of the amount of liquor by clinical observation and amnioscopy were compared with measurements of volume made by using a radio-isotope dilution technique. Technical difficulties prevented completion of the latter investigation in 13 cases. When the measured liquor volume was normal (≥500 ml.) a correct prediction was made in 39 of 53 (74 per cent) cases by abdominal palpation and in 41 of 53 (77 per cent) cases by amnioscopy. When the measured liquor volume was reduced ( |
