Popis: | An automated fluorometric determination for the total salicylate in body fluids and tissue extracts is described utilizing Auto-Analyzer modules. The technique is sensitive enough to be performed on microliter quantities of capillary blood. Tissue blanks are sufficiently low to allow a simple one-step aqueous extraction. Modifications which may be utilized for the measurement of acetylsalicylate, salicyluric acid, or salicylamide in the presence of salicylate are described. |
