Popis:	The main proposal of this work was to comprehend how internal factors influence the knowledge and decision-making of the farmers. Therefore, the production systems of ecological basis of banana in the Atlantic Forest in the state of Rio Grande do Sul – Brazil was observed. For that, 53 interviews have been carried out, which composed a non-probabilistic sample, and the data generated was analyzed through statistics and multivariate analysis tools. The results generated evidence for the comprehension that, in the organization of production systems, by the farmers, there is an important influence of their personal experiences and their values more closely connected to satisfaction and succession. Finally, it was observed that the elaborate construction of this work, considering the means of production, information system and regime of values, may be employed in different production systems.
