CELL COUNTS OF PHOSPHORUS-INFLUENCED P. AERUGINOSA IN DRINKING WATER

Popis: P. aeruginosa is the riskiest human pathogen because it structures biofilms, making it difficult to treat contamination with anti-infective agents. For this reason, the presence of P. aeruginosa in drinking water is an explanation of great concern. Supplements in the water, especially phosphorus, even in low fixation, can promote widespread bacterial growth. This review presents a link between phosphorus fixation and the development of P. aeruginosa. Our current research was conducted at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore from May 2018 to April 2019. A small change in phosphorus fixation below 5 ug/lit greatly reduced the development of P. aeruginosa. In this way, the development of P. aeruginosa in drinking water can be limited by reducing phosphorus fixation. Keywords: Cell, Counts, Phosphorus-influenced, p. Aeruginosa, drinking water.
