Popis: New S-butylxanthogenatomethyldialkylborates were synthesized, the structure of which was proved by determining their elemental composition, physicochemical properties, and IR spectroscopy. The study of the extremepressure properties of the synthesized compounds on a four-ball friction machine (ChMT-1) showed a high extreme pressure efficiency of S-butylxanthogenatomethyldimethyl- and dibutylborates. The dependence of the extreme pressure properties of borates on the length of the radicals.
