Cabbage (Brassica oleracea L.) is the most important vegetable among Brassica crops in the world due to its nutritional and health benefits, attached by many harmful Pathogens. The main objective of this study was to identify and determine the main pathogens of Cabbage and their Control.Fungal cultures identification was based on macroscopic characteristics like colony morphology, colour, texture, shape and appearance were observed on potato dextrose agar (PDA) and microscopic characteristics like conidia shape, hyphen colour, concentric zone, and pigmentation. Against pathogen used 24 different plant species known for their medicinal value in traditional medicine, were cut into small pieces and dried at room temperature for one week. 19 species of fungi have been identified. 9 species of fungi involved in forming of consortium on leaves of Cabbage plants have been specified as well. Among the mycobionts found on cabbage, the most dangerous and harmful pathogen of which the dominant species is Hyaloperonospora brassicae.Among the 27 extracts evaluated, 8 extracts showed mycelia inhibition above 81.8-97.96%, 4 showed moderate effect showed non-antifungal activity against Hyaloperonospora brassicae.This may be due to the lack of antifungal compound in the above mentioned 8 extracts.
