Popis: Recently, aberrant statuses of retinoids, which are structurally and/or functionally related to vitamin A (retinol), have been implicated in the pathogenesis of some types of cancers. It is well established that, at least in natural conditions, retinoic acids (RAs) are mainly responsible for retinoid actions among various retinoids. A current consensus is that RAs are supplied via retinol metabolisms in vivo.
