Popis: | To test the reliability of the flush blood pressure in the sick newborn infant under a variety of conditions, correlations of intra-aortic pressures with flush pressures from each extremity were obtained in 23 newborn infants. Statistical analysis indicated good correlations of mean aortic pressures with flush pressures in all extremities; the best correlation was in the right arm. Limitations of the flush method are discussed. |
