Popis: | The main purpose of the present study is to develop a field monitoring system for the assessment of the possible impact on the terrestrial entomofauna caused by crop-protection measurements, including the use of insecticides and other pesticides. In the first phase of the study special attention is paid to the epigeal predator arthropod fauna, which in the area concerned mainly consists of carabid beetles and spiders. Particularly this part of the soil fauna is liable to become exposed to above ground applications of pesticides. |
