Popis: | Intrathecal administration of ketanserin and phentolamine elicited dose-dependent falls in arterial blood pressure and heart rate in anaesthetized rats without attenuation of the pressor responses to i.v. injections of phenylephrine. It is concluded that both ketanserin and phentolamine can decrease arterial blood pressure by acting within the spinal cord. |
