Rapid oral mixing of glucose and saccharin by rats

Popis:	Within 5 minutes after initial contact rats show excessive consumption of a mixture of saccharin and glucose solutions. With a glucose solution in one bottle and the saccharin solution in another, a combination of which matches the above mixture, the rats also show large intakes. The pattern of drinking from the glucose and the saccharin bottles indicates that the rat mixes the solutions in rapid order, producing the preferred concentration of saccharin and glucose.
