Popis: | This study investigates invasive fungal infections (IFIs) in patients with acute myelogenous leukemia who were included in the Enfant Leucemie Aigue 02 protocol between 2005 and 2011. Among 387 patients, 15 had aspergillosis, 9 had candidiasis, and 2 had mucormycosis. The most frequent localization of IFIs was in the lungs. It was found that after a median of 34 months, 2 deaths were attributable to IFI without any difference in survival between the groups with and without IFI. |
