The aim of this research was to study the components of Thai Provincial Administrative Organizations’ (PAO) administrative and educational systems and make a second-order Confirmatory Factor Analysis to confirm the goodness of fit of the empirical data and the resultant component model. The study surveyed 390 individuals from four Thai regions, 282 of which were provincial administrators and 108 were educational executives. Research tools consisted of a questionnaire composed of two sections and 133 questions. LISREL 9.10 was used to analyze the data and test the hypotheses. Research results revealed that there were four main components including the environment, input, processes, and productivity which consisted of 23 observed variables. Results revealed that input had the greatest influence on good governance, followed by process, environment, and finally, productivity. |
