| Popis: | Proprioseiopsis neotropicus (Ehara) Amblyseius neotropicus Ehara, 1966: 133; Moraes & Mesa, 1988: 79; Moraes et al., 1991: 127. Proprioseiopsis neotropicus, Moraes et al., 1986: 119; 2004: 183; Zacarias & Moraes, 2001: 582. Specimens examined: Pirassununga: M. venulosa, IV�� 2001 (1), X�� 2001 (1). Associated phytophagous mites: no phytophagous mites were found associated with this species. Previous records: Brazil ��� Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Sul, S��o Paulo; Colombia and Equador. Remarks: The measurements of 2 adult females collected are similar to those given in the original description, except for j 3 and r 3, which are ca. 35 % longer.
