Popis: Phaneroptera nana Fieber, 1853 Material examined. Bohemia centr., Praha, Albertov, 1 M, 6.xi. 2009, O. Balvn leg., det. et coll. Circum-mediterranean species distributed in Europe, Africa and Asia Minor (Korek et al. 2005). In the CR, it was found for the first time in southern Moravia at the beginning of the 1990 s (Vlk 2002). At the present time, it is known from many southern Moravian localities reaching Brno and its surroundings (Korek et al. 2008). Recently, it has been found in Prague (as noted earlier in this report). It very probably is a distant introduction, i.e., it was introduced by highway or railway traffic. However, it is also possible that a breeding population has existed in the area of Prague for a substantial period but has been overlooked because it occurs high in tree canopies. New species for Bohemia.
