Popis:	By exploiting stimulated Raman scattering in long nitrogen-filled capillary fibers, we demonstrate continuous tunability of Yb laser systems over the 1.0-1.7 μm range, with conversion efficiency up to 82%, and an up to 10-fold pulse compression.
