Popis: | Recently, the wireless transmission of ultra-high-resolution video from UAVs has attracted great attention, because of its widespread applications such as infrastructure inspections, disaster monitoring, searching for missing people, and etc. The radio resources approved by regulations and laws is also increasing, e.g., in Japan, and the new opportunities also bring the new requirements on the system. In order to further extend UAV-based applications and improve the efficiency, it is expected to introduce multiple UAVs to provide the videos with larger coverage and higher resolution. However, when multiple UAVs are simultaneously working, the conventional multiplexing communication system for UAVs suffers the limited coverage and the large co-channel interference, which would severely decrease the throughput of data transmission and destabilize the remote control of UAVs. To address the above-mentioned problems and meet the requirements from new regulations, in this paper, we propose a new design of a multi-UAV full-duplex system for joint high-specification video, i.e., 4K video, transmission and stable flight control. The higher spectrum efficiency and lower complexity of transmitters on the UAV are achieved, and the co-channel interference is significantly avoided. The channel allocation algorithm for the multiple UAVs, which is equated to a trajectory and placement planning problem for the multiple UAVs assigned with pre-fixed channels, is also proposed. The simulations are also conducted to validate the new system design. |
