| Popis: | In a single sample, or with differences between paired observations in a matched-pair study, the observations may be ranked in order of their absolute values. The sign of the rank is then restored, and an appropriate statistic is calculated from the signed ranks. The most usual example is the Wilcoxon signed-rank test.
