Popis: Section editor's note In 2006, the American Dental Association's (ADA's) Council on Scientific Affairs launched the ADA Professional Product Review (the Review) as a quarterly print publication. Since then, the Review has published numerous evaluations conducted by the ADA laboratories of products ranging from light-emitting diode curing units and flowable composites to digital radiography systems, computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing systems and more than 70 types of restorative materials. In addition to test results, the Review has published panel discussions, extensive product survey data, information on dental therapeutics, descriptions of clinical techniques and product category primers created with input and feedback from practitioners. Beginning with Volume 7, Issue 1, the Review becomes an online publication, with the full current issue, supplementary materials and complete archives available online at www.ada.org/ppr . In addition, an executive summary of each issue of the Review will appear in The Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA). This inaugural executive summary highlights a report of an ADA laboratory evaluation of elastomeric impression materials that appears in the complete issue online. Please visit www.ada.org/ppr for the online version of Volume 7, Issue 1, which includes additional content. —David C.
