| Popis: | We report a child with a progressive "solid alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma" in whom analysis of tumor cells revealed a t(2;13) translocation characteristic of the classical alveolar subtype. Both subtypes of alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma are associated with a poor response to treatment and the occurrence of this translocation in both is suggestive of a common biologic origin. |
