Popis:	It is shown from the tendency equation that the 3-hr pressure tendency, corrected for normal diurnal variation, may be an indication of vertical motion. an analysis of twelve months records of weather at both Entebbe and Nairobi confirms the existence of a relationship between pressure tendency and impending weather. the influence of isallobaric convergence on the weather is also demonstrated.
