Popis: | —There were no significant differences in the thyroidal uptake of I131 from water solution as compared to I131 from cow's milk in eleven adult human subjects. In rats and dogs it was also observed that there were no differences in thyroidal uptake from water solutions and milk. In addition, there were no differences in competitive utilization from the two sources between old and young animals and, in rats, between raw and pasteurized milk. |
