Popis: It is shown that productive oil reservoirs with a large thickness are exploited by wells that are hydrodynamically imperfect in terms of the degree of opening, which are usually flat-bottomed, since they are mainly drilled with roller bits. Such wells significantly complicate the derivation of the flow rate formula for solving hydrodynamic problems. It is necessary to change the geometric shape of the bottomholes of drilled wells, i.e. give them a concave hemispherical shape. To achieve this goal, a new design of a two-blade bit is recommended, which has the nature of a multi-stage, thereby significantly increasing the rate of penetration when drilling wells.
