Popis: | Human cytomegalovirus (CMV) induces nuclear antigens resembling the Epstein-Barr nuclear antigen (EBNA) as early as 3 h after infection. These early antigens can be detected only with the anti-complement immunofluorescence staining (ACIF) technique. Synthesis of these new antigens is not influenced by cytosine arabinoside (ara-C). |
