Popis: Properties and behavior of nuclear matter at finite temperature are studied in the saturating chiral field theory of Boguta. Fermi integrations occurring in the expressions for scaler density and vector density are carried out in the low temperature approximation and the field equation, to find the effective nucleon mass M(, is derived as a quartic equation in the scaler meson field sigma with input parameter eta = K/sub F//M(. Quantities of physical interest epsilon-c, P, and S are expressed in closed form.
