| Popis: | Carcinosarcoma is an extremely rare, highly malignant tumor having a characteristic of both epithelial and mesenchymal components; the epithelial component exhibiting focal squamous cell carcinoma and mesenchymal component having sarcomatoid stroma. The occurrence of carcinosarcoma in the oral cavity is very rare and only few cases have been reported in the literature, although its occurrence in other parts of the body has been widely reported. |
