Popis: Treatment of bacterial vaginosis causes serious difficulties associated with the polymicrobial nature of the disease, the formation of biofilms, insufficient recolonization of the vagina with lactobacilli after treatment with probiotics. Therefore, the search for factors that cause the recurrence of bacterial vaginosis is a prerequisite for effective prevention of the disease. A number of clinical and anamnestic and microbiological factors, such as an unfavorable premorbid background, a high frequency of inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs, a burdened obstetric and gynecological history, uncontrolled use of antibacterial drugs, long-term use of chemical genital hygiene products can provoke the development of bacterial vaginosis. Rehabilitation of sexual partners allows to improve the results of treatment of women by reducing the number of recurrences of bacterial vaginosis.
