Popis:	Background: Binge Eating Disorder (BED) became a formal diagnosis in the DSM-5 in 2013. Obesity is one condition associated with BED, and onset of binge eating before age 18 is related to earlier onset of obesity and of comorbid mental disorders. Currently available measures to assess BED in the pediatric population screen for some BED symptoms but do not gather sufficient information to determine a diagnosis.
