The article reveals the features of the toponymic names of M. Auezov's epic novel "The Way of Abai", their history, the connection of names with specific historical events of that period. An attempt is made to perform a linguistic analysis of toponyms, and their statistical analysis is given. The authors emphasize the undoubted connection of place names with the conditions of the people's existence, which can be traced in historical geographical names, the socio-political structure of the state, and the lifestyle of the population. The article provides a classification of toponyms, argued by textual examples, an etymological analysis of some toponyms is carried out. |
