Popis: | Teramocerus appendiculatus (Soares & Scivittaro, 1972). Previously known only from the type series collected in Brazil, at Tabatinga and Benjamin Constant (Soares & Scivittaro, 1972; Mantilleri, 2015a). In AMNH: 1 ♂, " Rio Santiago, Peru, XI.29.24, F6012; H. Bassler collection acc. 33591; prp. micro. nAM-AMNH 00003". Despite some differences with the type (proximal sclerite of the endophallus seems to be less swollen at base and carina on metatarsi 5 less developed), we consider it as belonging to the same taxon, the other characters being very similar (especially the hairs under mesotarsi 5 and the shape of the depression on sternite III). The Rio Santiago is a river located in the northeastern part of the state of Amazonas, in Peru. This citation is a new country record.
