Popis: | Introduction: Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is a life-saving tool utilized in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) for a variety of conditions. ECMO generally requires anti-coagulation to prevent the formation of clots within the circuit, limiting its use in patients with active bleeding. This case, however, demonstrates the benefit of ECMO in pulmonary hemorrhage despite the risks.
