Popis:	Haemorrhages in the nerve-roots and dorsal-root ganglia were found in patients dying after head injury. There were no fractures of the spinal column and no subarachnoid blood around the cord. The pathogenesis of these haemorrhages is not clear. Two possibilities are that they are due to trauma or that they are related to raised intracranial pressure.
