Popis: | Fifty cases of chronic benign obstructive lesions of the ilco-caccal region have been studied. The histopathology, particularly of the lymph nodes, provides the maximal confirmatory evidence of tuberculosis. Guinea-pig inoculation is more informative, offering greater possibilities of indentifying acid-fast bacilli. The demonstration of granuloma formation with caseation represents a significant advance in the laboratory diagnosis of tuberculosis. |
